Expeller pressed oils can be exposed to heat therefore causing them to less than desirable to the raw foodist. The best choice is to choose organic, cold pressed. When a product says that it is cold pressed the maker feels that it is important for the consumer to know that extra care has been take to preserve the raw nature of the nut and or seed oil.
